Summer 2027 Commercial Credit/Banking Intern (Commercial Banking)

Location: Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, at 101 N 2nd Street, Harrisburg, PA 17101. Only candidates legally authorized to work in the U.S. will be considered; employment-based visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Participate in credit, systems, corporate, and other assigned training.
• Support credit analysts, portfolio managers, and commercial lenders in tracking, administering, and growing the commercial portfolio.
• Perform financial spreading and analysis, cash flow analysis, collateral analysis, and credit risk mitigation activities.
• Shadow commercial lenders and business partners during outside business calls.
• Collaborate with Private Banking, Treasury Management, Wealth/Brokerage, Business Banking, and Commercial Administration teams.
• Complete projects and assignments while following established risk, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate bachelor’s program.
• Major in Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related area.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• No prior professional experience required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.; employment-based visa sponsorship is not available.
• Demonstrate analytical, communication, teamwork, accountability, curiosity, and integrity.
