Staff Reliability Engineer – Customer Quality

Location: Onsite Monday-Friday at N7650 County Rd LS, Sheboygan, WI 53083, United States. Relocation assistance is available.

Salary: $98,900–$125,600 per year

What you will do

• Lead reliability improvement initiatives addressing field, warranty, and customer issues.
• Define and validate reliability requirements throughout new product development before product release.
• Identify Critical-to-Quality characteristics and develop reliability validation and test plans.
• Analyze warranty, field, and test data using Pareto analysis, Weibull analysis, and reliability modeling.
• Lead advanced problem-solving, containment, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions across design, manufacturing, and suppliers.
• Lead cross-functional teams, manage complex initiatives, and mentor reliability and quality engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
• 7–10 years of experience in Reliability, Quality, Design, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 2–5 years of direct reliability or customer quality experience in industrial, automotive, engine, generator, or heavy equipment environments.
• Strong knowledge of 8D, DMAIC, and 5-Whys methodologies.
• Experience with reliability engineering principles, test planning, warranty analysis, and field-failure investigation.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI, and the ability to lead through influence.
