Senior Animator (Total War)

Location: Hybrid in Horsham, West Sussex, United Kingdom; three days per week in the studio on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

What you will do

• Define animation style and quality benchmarks with internal and external stakeholders.
• Create high-quality hand-key and motion capture animations for human and creature characters.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to develop animation systems that support gameplay.
• Improve animation workflows, tools, and pipelines for greater efficiency and quality.
• Mentor internal and external animators and support creative and technical growth.

Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of animation pipelines.
• Strong hand-key and motion capture animation skills for humans and creatures.
• In-depth knowledge of game development workflows and mechanics.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-disciplinary collaboration skills.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to maintain clear, up-to-date documentation.
