TL;DR
Senior Engineer, Maintenance (Instrument & Control) (Oil & Gas): Providing engineering support for the maintenance and performance of plant instrument and control systems with an accent on ESD, DCS, PLC, turbine control, process automation, and alarm management. Focus on root cause analysis, reliability improvement, OT security, maintenance optimization, technical studies, and support for major EPC and shutdown activities.

What you will do
- Provide expert engineering support for the operation and maintenance of ESD, DCS, PLC, turbine control, antisurge, load-share, machine monitoring, and process control systems.
- Develop scopes of work for major overhauls, service work orders, shutdowns, technical studies, and minor projects.
- Investigate system failures, perform root cause analysis, identify bad actors, and implement solutions to improve reliability and performance.
- Support process automation systems including SCADA, Fire & Gas, DCS interfaces, alarm management, and plant model updates.
- Lead or participate in HAZOP, SIF, HIRA, management of change, commissioning, technical bid evaluation, and project document reviews.
- Optimize preventive maintenance plans, CMMS data quality, spare-parts availability, QMS compliance, and OT security controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- 15+ years of overall EPC experience in the oil and gas industry, including at least 8 years maintaining instrument and control systems in a large industrial organization.
- Experience with gas processing, NGL, EPC, and detailed engineering projects.
- Deep knowledge of instrument and control engineering maintenance policies, international codes and standards, engineering specifications, and best practices.
- Experience with CMMS platforms such as SAP or Maximo, plus commissioning, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of control systems.
- Experience handling mega oil and gas FEED/EPC projects valued at more than US$1 billion is required.
