AWS Solutions Architect

Location: Austria; flexible work week with work-from-home options from Austria

Salary: Minimum EUR 3,375.40 gross per month under the Austrian Banking Collective Agreement; actual salary is determined individually based on qualifications and experience.

What you will do

• Design, own, and evolve enterprise cloud landing zones, guardrails, and reference architectures.
• Define security, networking, identity, and cost-control standards for cloud environments.
• Architect and lead migrations and multi-team application, data, and infrastructure solutions to AWS, with Azure where applicable.
• Build data-driven business cases and present technical recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Prepare concise reporting on status, risks, costs, and ROI.
• Coach engineers and architects while promoting repeatable cloud best practices.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in enterprise cloud architecture, platform engineering, or an equivalent field.
• AWS Solutions Architect – Professional certification or equivalent demonstrable expertise.
• Azure and AI associate-level certifications or demonstrable Azure and AI platform experience.
• Proven experience establishing cloud landing zones and enabling teams to run applications in public cloud environments.
• Strong solution-architecture experience across migrations and multi-team initiatives.
• Ability to work from Austria is required for the stated work-from-home arrangement.
