Technical Architect (AI)

Location: Bratislava, Slovakia; hybrid work with an expectation of at least three days in the office per week

Base salary: €3,800–€6,300 per month, plus performance-based variable compensation and additional benefits.

What you will do

• Define and govern architectural standards across the Group Functions Shared Engineering portfolio.
• Conduct architectural reviews and design assessments throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
• Develop reusable architectural patterns, reference architectures, and blueprints.
• Establish engineering guardrails, monitor SDLC and QA maturity, and report on technical debt, risk, and architectural health.
• Coach engineering teams through workshops, collaborative design sessions, and enablement initiatives.
• Lead the responsible adoption of AI-assisted development tools, including code generation, automated testing, intelligent code review, and developer copilots.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Technical Architect or Senior Software Architect in complex, multi-team engineering environments.
• Deep expertise in cloud-native architecture, distributed systems, microservices, API-first design, and infrastructure as code.
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and governance practices, such as TOGAF or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of security-by-design, DevSecOps, QA frameworks, and SDLC practices.
• Hands-on experience with .NET technologies, including .NET Core, ASP.NET, and C#, within a Microsoft technology stack.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including the ability to influence without authority.

Nice to have

• Background as a software engineer or developer.
• Experience with SDLC maturity models, quality metrics, platform engineering, or developer experience initiatives.
• Practical experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Amazon CodeWhisperer, or Cursor.
• Coaching or mentoring experience within engineering communities.
