Neuroscience Therapeutic Sales Specialist (Biotech)

Location: Field-based in Orlando, FL, Kissimmee, FL, and Melbourne, FL; travel up to 70%.

Base salary: $165,000–$195,000 USD per annum, plus discretionary bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Execute territory-level commercial strategy for the launch and adoption of an innovative mental health therapy.
• Build strategic relationships with psychiatrists, treatment centers, behavioral health systems, and other healthcare stakeholders.
• Deliver scientifically accurate and compliant product and disease-state education to healthcare providers.
• Support certified treatment sites with onboarding, readiness, treatment workflows, scheduling, and patient flow.
• Help providers navigate patient selection, referral pathways, reimbursement, prior authorization, and access-related challenges.
• Manage territory business planning and share field insights with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Patient Support, and Commercial Operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; an advanced degree is preferred.
• 5–8+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech sales experience, preferably in specialty or complex therapeutic areas.
• Demonstrated success launching novel therapies or working in pre-launch environments.
• Strong clinical acumen and ability to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly.
• Experience building trust-based relationships with healthcare providers and managing complex territories.
• Must have employment rights in the United States; employment visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience in psychiatry, CNS, or behavioral health markets.
• Knowledge of medical and pharmacy benefit reimbursement, buy-and-bill, site-of-care dynamics, prior authorization, and payer processes.
• Experience with specialty treatment centers, IDNs, academic medical centers, site certification, specialized administration, or coordinated care delivery.
