Sonographer - Ultrasound - Per Diem

Location: Nashua, NH, United States. Per diem coverage includes days, nights, and weekends.

What you will do

• Perform OB, high-risk, vascular, abdominal, small-parts, and invasive ultrasound examinations according to department protocols.
• Review patient histories and physician orders, complete pre-exam documentation, and maintain accurate records.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images, present them for interpretation, and consult with Radiologists on findings.
• Assist Radiologists with invasive procedures and safely transport or reposition patients using appropriate equipment.
• Use RIS and PACS systems while maintaining HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Support onboarding and training for new staff.

Requirements

• Graduate of an AMA-approved ultrasound training program.
• ARDMS certification or eligibility; certification must be obtained within one year of hire.
• Licensed by the New Hampshire Board of Medical Imaging.
• Proficient with computer systems and data entry.
• Strong multitasking, prioritization, communication, and patient-care skills.
