MFM Ultrasound Technologist II - Per Diem

Pay range: $44.17–$56.32 per hour

What you will do

• Perform maternal-fetal medicine ultrasound procedures independently according to department policies and radiological standards.
• Verify patients, procedures, imaging protocols, examination steps, and scanner parameters.
• Provide clear instructions to patients and maintain patient and staff safety during examinations.
• Perform equipment and device quality control and keep work areas clean and functional.
• Coordinate patient care with other staff, departments, and service lines.
• Maintain supplies, participate in education and training, and support students or new technologists when assigned.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer certification through ARDMS.
• ARDMS OB/GYN Specialist Certification.
• Two years of experience as an MFM Ultrasound Technologist.
• Knowledge of ultrasound equipment, examinations, and procedures, with strong communication, customer service, organizational, and independent-working skills.
• Ability to stand frequently, walk, lift 30–35 pounds, operate radiology equipment with fine manual dexterity, and work around bodily fluids and communicable diseases.
