Civil Site Engineer (Oil & Gas EPC)

Location: Ruwais, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; onsite, full-time

What you will do

• Supervise and execute civil site works according to approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and construction schedules.
• Monitor daily construction activities for safety, quality, schedule, and HSE compliance, including Permit-to-Work requirements.
• Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, client representatives, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth site execution.
• Monitor progress, manage manpower, materials, tools, and equipment, and prepare daily and weekly site reports.
• Identify and resolve technical site issues with Engineering and QA/QC teams.
• Support inspections, approvals, compliance documentation, and project handover activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of civil site execution experience in Oil & Gas or EPC construction projects.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors, client representatives, and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Knowledge of project specifications, construction standards, HSE requirements, Permit-to-Work systems, QA/QC procedures, inspections, and project documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and construction documents; proficiency in MS Office.
• Full professional proficiency in English, with strong communication, leadership, coordination, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
