TL;DR
Manager, Environmental Health & Safety Governance (EHS): Leading the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of environmental, health, and safety programs across multiple industrial sites with an accent on regulatory compliance, waste management, emissions, emergency response, and employee safety. Focus on investigating incidents, performing root cause analysis, managing permits and reporting, delivering training, and driving corrective actions and continuous improvement projects.

What you will do
- Lead the development, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Environmental, Health & Safety programs across multiple sites.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety laws, permits, and corporate standards.
- Manage wastewater, hazardous waste, air emissions, personal protective equipment, emergency response, and waste management programs.
- Partner with regulatory agencies and manage permits, reporting, and compliance obligations.
- Lead incident, accident, and near-miss investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions.
- Manage EHS data and reporting, deliver training, engage employees in safety initiatives, and support EHS-related capital projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4–7 years of EHS experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of environmental, health, and safety regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience working with regulatory agencies and managing permits and reporting processes.
- Expertise in hazard identification, industrial hygiene, risk assessment, incident investigations, and corrective and preventive actions.
- Strong analytical, data management, reporting, communication, and training skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant systems; business-level English.
