Product Environmental Compliance Specialist (Automotive)

What you will do

• Monitor evolving global environmental and product compliance regulations and industry standards.
• Manage compliance systems and tools such as Silicon Expert and Agile, including regulatory data and reporting.
• Interpret changes to RoHS, REACH, ELV, and related standards, assess their impact, and coordinate implementation.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and development groups on risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
• Develop compliance policies and procedures and integrate requirements into product design and development.
• Maintain compliance documentation, certifications, regulatory declarations, and staff training.

Requirements

• BA degree in a relevant field or 5+ years of experience supporting product environmental and regulatory compliance programs.
• Strong knowledge of product compliance regulations for electronics, semiconductors, and automotive products, including RoHS, REACH, and Conflict Minerals.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet challenging deadlines.
• Attention to detail, regulatory research and analysis, and risk assessment and management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in the automotive, semiconductor, or electronics industries.
