Technology Risk Specialist Sr

Location: In-office in Pittsburgh, PA; Dallas, TX; Strongsville, OH; Birmingham, AL; Phoenix, AZ; or Denver, CO

Base salary: $86,250–$172,500 per year, plus incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Execute and enhance technology and line-of-business risk management programs, including assessments, self-assessments, issue management, and control evaluations.
• Identify, assess, monitor, and report on operational, technology, cyber, compliance, and emerging risks.
• Analyze key risk indicators, incidents, vulnerabilities, policy exceptions, control weaknesses, and operational risk events to identify emerging concerns.
• Advise business and technology stakeholders on risk exposures, control effectiveness, remediation strategies, risk acceptance, and governance requirements.
• Prepare executive dashboards, governance committee materials, regulatory reporting, and risk insights for leadership, regulators, and audit functions.
• Develop technology risk quantification methods and scenarios covering cybersecurity, infrastructure availability, cloud services, identity and access management, data protection, AI, and third-party technology risk.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification, and experience.
• 3+ years of relevant or direct industry experience.
• Knowledge of technology environments, including infrastructure, data, information security, MIS, governance, and technology risk frameworks.
• Experience with risk analysis, internal controls, control evaluations, issue management, and regulatory or audit support.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
