Associate Category Manager - Assets (Enterprise Asset Procurement)

Location: Wilmington, Delaware, United States; onsite at headquarters

Salary: $110,544–$172,725 annually, plus an 11% annual bonus target.

What you will do

• Develop and execute sourcing, financing, leasing, and lifecycle management strategies for global transportation and mobile assets, including railcars, ISO tanks, mobile equipment, and trailers/chassis.
• Optimize asset availability, utilization, reliability, operational performance, and total cost of ownership across global operations.
• Lead strategic sourcing, RFP/RFQ processes, supplier negotiations, contract negotiation, and contract management.
• Build lease-versus-buy recommendations and support capital planning, financing, and capital deployment decisions.
• Conduct financial modeling and evaluations using NPV, IRR, ROI, lifecycle cost, and spend analysis.
• Establish governance and performance metrics, improve asset visibility through digital tools, and lead an asset management and procurement team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, finance, engineering, operations, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in asset management, procurement, finance, or industrial operations.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience managing global, regional, or cross-functional teams.
• Experience managing asset portfolios, supplier and banking relationships, leasing programs, and capital equipment.
• Strong financial, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
• Immigration sponsorship, including H-1B, F-1 OPT, TN, or other non-immigrant status sponsorship, is not available.

Nice to have

• MBA or an advanced finance degree.
• CPSM, CPM, CFA, CPA, CFM, or Lean Six Sigma certification.
• Experience with SAP, Ariba, Lease Accelerator, and Power BI.
• Experience in chemical, manufacturing, energy, or another asset-intensive industry.
