Financial BI Technical Specialist (Oracle)

Location: Chicago, Illinois; hybrid schedule with three days in the office and two days remote

Base pay: $84,400–$152,300 annually, plus eligibility for an annual incentive bonus plan.

What you will do

• Assist with designing and implementing financial and management reporting and analytics portfolios.
• Support business intelligence strategy and frameworks based on standardized business drivers and KPIs.
• Retrieve, analyze, and report financial business data for strategic and operational decision-making.
• Rationalize reports and ensure metrics are consistently defined, calculated, and accessed.
• Identify opportunities to automate reporting and improve process efficiency, quality, and delivery.
• Partner with finance and actuarial teams to reduce reporting risks and redundancy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience with business intelligence tools, systems, and relational database technology.
• Experience with project management, strategy development, change management, and process improvement.
• Experience with reporting and data governance.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement with a minimum of three office days per week.

Nice to have

• Oracle Fusion Financials reporting experience across ERP and EPM.
• Experience with Oracle Smart View, BI Publisher, OTBI, and Financial Reporting Studio.
• Experience with EPM Reports and Narrative Reporting.
• Hands-on report development experience.
• Power BI paginated reporting experience.
