Application & Design Integration Intern (Manufacturing)

Location: Mentor, Ohio, United States; primarily onsite. Hybrid work opportunities may be available based on role requirements, performance, and business needs. The role is primarily office-based, with occasional hands-on support in sample shop environments and minimal travel.

What you will do

• Support departmental operations, technology initiatives, projects, and business activities.
• Assist with troubleshooting, hardware and software setup, and system maintenance.
• Collect, analyze, and report data to support business decisions and process improvements.
• Create documentation, training materials, reports, and presentations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and research industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
• Complete and present a capstone project covering findings, recommendations, results, challenges, and key learnings.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, engineering technology, systems engineering, data analytics, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Remain enrolled as a student throughout the internship or cooperative period.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Demonstrate organizational, time-management, communication, critical-thinking, problem-solving, analytical, and independent-working skills.
• Prioritize safety, professionalism, integrity, accountability, continuous learning, and customer-focused work.

Nice to have

• Previous internship, co-op, work, leadership, volunteer, or project experience.
• Experience or coursework with relevant software, tools, or systems.
