Sustainability Intern

Location: Columbus, OH — Arena District; candidates must reside within 50 miles of the reporting location.

Salary: $17.20–$29.70 per hour.

What you will do

• Review federal and state environmental policies and guidelines to support compliance and strategic planning.
• Prepare written analyses of environmental policies and regulations, including potential impacts on business operations.
• Help develop and improve compliant, proactive environmental management systems and sustainability programs.
• Collect, analyze, and report environmental data for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal business partners to integrate environmental programs across functions.
• Prepare materials for team meetings and support reporting and documentation related to environmental initiatives.

Requirements

• Enrolled in a college or university and entering the junior or senior year in fall 2027, with a focus on Environmental Science, Public Policy, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Strong writing, research, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently, collaborate effectively, and take ownership of assigned duties.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require employer sponsorship now or in the future.
