Global Indirect Tax Manager

What you will do

• Oversee end-to-end indirect tax compliance, including preparing, reviewing, and filing tax returns across domestic and international jurisdictions.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of indirect tax professionals.
• Collaborate with finance, legal, IT, procurement, supply chain, and accounts payable teams.
• Maintain and configure indirect tax engines such as OneSource and integrate them with SAP for accurate tax calculations and reporting.
• Develop tax planning strategies to reduce indirect tax liabilities and improve cash flow.
• Research tax laws and rulings and manage audits, information requests, and settlements with tax authorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 8+ years of global VAT experience in an international environment.
• Excellent knowledge of VAT or its regional equivalent.
• Understanding of VAT determination logic in ERP systems, preferably SAP, and VAT automation solutions for invoicing and reporting.
• Fluent English required.
• Strong communication skills, ownership, and the ability to provide solutions in difficult situations.
