What you will do
- Process, validate, approve, and post purchase order and non-purchase order invoices.
- Calculate and apply VAT, withholding tax, and other applicable local tax requirements.
- Review supplier documentation for legal and tax compliance.
- Execute scheduled vendor payment runs and resolve invoice, payment, and account-related issues.
- Investigate exceptions with suppliers and internal stakeholders, escalating complex cases when required.
- Support Procure-to-Pay objectives, internal controls, and process optimization initiatives.
Requirements
- College diploma, bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent accounting qualification.
- Good understanding of accounts payable and general accounting processes.
- Fluent Slovenian, Bosnian, Serbian, or Montenegrin and English, both written and spoken.
- Experience with enterprise resource planning systems; SAP experience is preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail, customer service, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
