Senior Consultant, VAP (US Healthcare)

Location: New York, NY, United States

Salary: $118,000–$177,000 USD annually, plus an annual discretionary performance bonus.

What you will do

• Lead qualitative and quantitative analysis of primary and secondary data across US payer and healthcare stakeholder types.
• Generate value, access, pricing insights, and strategic recommendations for biopharmaceutical and pharmaceutical clients.
• Coordinate and guide junior staff while partnering with project managers and senior leadership.
• Create and present research materials, interim deliverables, and final client reports.
• Provide thought leadership in evidence strategy, value, market access, and pricing.
• Support proposal writing, business development, professional development initiatives, and internal training.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with high academic achievement; health sciences, economics, or HEOR preferred.
• 3–4 years of experience as a top performer at a top-tier biopharmaceutical or pharmaceutical strategy consulting firm serving US-related clients.
• Deep knowledge of the US healthcare system, pricing dynamics, payer and provider types, and access nuances.
• Strong analytical, numerical, organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Working knowledge of consulting methodologies, research platforms, PubMed, Medline, Google Scholar, and Microsoft Office.
• General understanding of systematic reviews, clinical research design, and clinical-trial standards and regulations.
