Technical Marketing Specialist TSS (Refrigeration)

Location: Remote based in Germany, with approximately 20–30% travel across Europe; the role supports customers and projects across the DACH region, the Netherlands and the Nordics.

Salary: €85,000–€105,000 annual salary range, depending on experience, skills and internal alignment. A later compensation disclosure lists a local pay range of €86,800–€135,625, with an 11% annual bonus target.

What you will do

• Lead application development projects in refrigeration, air-conditioning and heat pump markets.
• Support OEMs and customers with the qualification and implementation of next-generation refrigerants.
• Act as a technical expert and trusted advisor for customers, consultants, end-users, retailers, universities and industry organizations.
• Analyze field-trial and application data, identify technical projects, and provide recommendations that support business growth and market adoption.
• Develop technical papers, case studies and conference presentations while monitoring market, customer and competitive developments.
• Support European codes, standards and regulatory activities and collaborate with Technical Marketing, Business Development, Product Management, Sales, Regulatory and R&D teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Several years of experience in refrigeration, HVAC, heat pumps or related thermal systems industries.
• Experience with refrigerants, refrigeration systems, HVAC technologies or heat pumps.
• Experience working with customers, OEMs, consultants or other external industry stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, project management, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to manage projects independently in a matrix environment.
• Fluency in German and English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in application development, market development or technical business development.
• Familiarity with F-Gas and EN378 regulations and standards.
• Experience creating technical publications, case studies or conference presentations.
• Standards committee, advocacy or industry association experience.
• Knowledge of fluoro chemistry or refrigerant chemistry.
