Market Manager (HVAC)

Location: Remote within Germany, with occasional travel to the Aachen office and customer locations across the region. Approximately 20% travel is expected.

What you will do

• Develop market strategies using market sizing, growth analysis, competitive assessments, and industry trend evaluation.
• Build market roadmaps to guide future product and solution development.
• Conduct market segmentation, targeting, and prioritization to support resource allocation and strategic decisions.
• Analyze customer needs, Voice of Customer insights, market trends, emerging applications, regulations, and competitor activity.
• Develop market models and value assessments for business planning, investment decisions, and value propositions.
• Translate market intelligence into growth initiatives and recommendations while partnering with Product Management, Marketing, Sales, Commercial, and Leadership teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
• Approximately 3–5 years of experience in Market Management, Strategic Marketing, Business Development, Market Intelligence, Product Marketing, Consulting, or a similar analytical role.
• Experience with market research, market sizing, segmentation, trend analysis, and strategic planning.
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional influencing skills.
• Fluent English language skills required.
• Applicants must already be legally authorized to work in Germany; visa sponsorship or work authorization will not be provided.

Nice to have

• Experience in HVAC, climate technologies, building technologies, industrial markets, or another related technical industry.
• Knowledge of competitive intelligence, customer research methodologies, Voice of Customer programs, and market segmentation frameworks.
• Experience with M&A assessments, market due diligence, growth strategy projects, or international businesses across multiple markets.
