What you will do

  • Manage residential master planning and community design projects.
  • Prepare and process complex land use petitions, planning studies, and due diligence analyses.
  • Build relationships with clients and local municipal agencies.
  • Lead or participate in presentations supporting client and project approvals.
  • Plan and schedule project work, manage budgets, staff, and sub-consultants.
  • Collaborate with landscape architecture teams, support office culture, and mentor planning staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in urban and regional planning, landscape architecture, or a closely related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in residential master planning and community design.
  • Understanding of placemaking, community design, residential lotting, and the entitlement process.
  • Ability to prepare planning documents and submittals, conduct independent research, and support multiple projects.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Adobe tools, and digital rendering programs.
  • Strong written, presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Nice to have

  • GIS/ESRI capabilities.
  • Experience with Civil 3D or other site development programs.
  • LEED or SITES certification.
  • Landscape architecture experience or interest.
  • Drone piloting and ability to prepare drone footage.
