Healthcare Data Scientist (Healthcare)

Salary: $116,190–$142,010 per year, plus eligibility for variable pay.

What you will do

• Provide analytic support for healthcare quality and affordability strategy across the health plan.
• Map patients’ clinical journeys and identify drivers of variation in clinical quality.
• Analyze quantitative, qualitative, transactional, member-reported, third-party, and public data.
• Develop dashboards tracking clinical and operational programs, including Commercial quality and Medicare Star ratings.
• Present analytical findings, business metrics, and strategic recommendations to internal decision-makers.

Requirements

• Five or more years of experience in applied analytics or quantitative research, with experience improving population health, access to care, or consumer experience.
• Advanced programming skills in SAS, R, Python, or equivalent analytical tools.
• Experience with large, complex, structured, and unstructured datasets.
• Practical knowledge of statistical methods and analytical methodologies for business decision-making.
• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, econometrics, applied mathematics, quantitative behavioral sciences, or public health; an advanced degree is highly preferred.
• Ability to independently manage multi-stakeholder projects, communicate complex findings, and present recommendations clearly.
