Estimator, Tunnel (Trenchless Construction)

Location: Houston, TX; Lomira, WI; Milwaukee, WI. Willingness to travel up to 10% is required.

What you will do

• Lead detailed reviews of contract plans, specifications, and other bid documents.
• Identify the requirements needed to bid, win, and execute tunnel and heavy civil projects.
• Develop project pricing and prepare estimates.
• Solicit and evaluate quotations from major subcontractors and suppliers.
• Review estimates with management and work independently with strong attention to detail.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working on tunneling and/or heavy civil projects.
• Experience estimating tunneling and/or heavy civil projects is desired.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is desired but not required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Nice to have

• Experience with HCSS, Primavera P6, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam.
