Data Scientist (Healthcare)

Location: Remote, USA

Salary: $135,000–$170,000 base salary annually, plus an annual bonus incentive.

What you will do

• Translate business goals into robust machine learning and AI models that improve clinical outcomes.
• Develop models using clinical, claims, and social determinants of health data to produce actionable recommendations.
• Query Snowflake and prepare datasets for exploratory analysis and modeling.
• Define data requirements, optimize data collection, and build data assets with the Staff Data Scientist and cross-functional teams.
• Deliver insights supporting business strategy and patient care.

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Strong knowledge of study design, causal inference, hypothesis testing, and research methods.
• Ability to present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in a startup or growth environment.
• Experience with Snowflake, AWS, and/or Tableau.
