What you will do

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Plant and Soil Sciences, Natural Resources, and Environmental Sciences.
• Establish an innovative, externally funded research program addressing agricultural productivity, environmental resilience, and food security.
• Conduct research using current and emerging technologies in plant productivity, soil health, nutrient management, and related areas.
• Publish research findings in refereed journals and seek external grants and contracts.
• Advise undergraduate and graduate students, support student organizations, and assist with student recruitment.
• Participate in university, community, professional, and departmental service and professional development.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Plant and Soil Sciences, Agronomy, Natural Resources, Environmental Sciences, or a closely related field.
• At least 1–2 years of teaching experience at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
• Proficiency in written and oral communication for varied audiences.
• Demonstrated ability in effective teaching and scholarship, potential to obtain external funding, and support for professional organizations.
• Employment is subject to a criminal history investigation and verification of credentials.
