Setter (f/m/d) Temporary 12 Month (Injection Molding)

What you will do

• Set up tools, machines, peripherals, and injection molding equipment independently.
• Start up and monitor injection molding machines, including Arburg equipment, and finishing machines.
• Optimize production processes to improve efficiency and quality.
• Monitor production, document process flows, and support quality assurance.
• Provide materials and participate in Kaizen and other improvement projects.
• Resolve production disruptions during the shift and support the manufacturing team.

Requirements

• Completed technical training as a process mechanic for plastics and rubber technology or a comparable technical qualification.
• Career changers with technical vocational training are welcome.
• Experience in manufacturing or production, including metal or plastic processing.
• Knowledge of the structure and operation of molding and finishing machines.
• Awareness of applicable safety regulations and consistent compliance with safety standards.
• German language skills at least at B1 level for effective team communication.

Nice to have

• Experience with lean manufacturing methods.
