Senior Data Architect (Azure) (Data Platforms and Microsoft Fabric): Designing and evolving scalable Azure data platforms while migrating pipelines to Microsoft Fabric and promoting reliable data to curated, business-ready layers with an accent on data lake architecture, Delta Lake, governance, and security. Focus on solving complex migration and architecture challenges, guiding technical teams, and translating data architecture decisions for technical and business stakeholders.

What you will do
- Define and communicate the long-term data architecture vision in alignment with business strategy.
- Lead the migration of data pipelines to Microsoft Fabric and ensure reliable promotion to the curated golden layer.
- Design and evolve data lake and Delta Lake architectures on Azure, balancing performance, scalability, and cost.
- Evaluate technologies, frameworks, and standards while establishing data management and governance practices.
- Guide development and architecture teams through complex technical challenges, design decisions, and implementation issues.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, technology partners, and suppliers; mentor team members and represent data architecture in technical forums.
Requirements
- Advanced English proficiency at C1 level or above for direct interaction with international stakeholders.
- Extensive hands-on experience with data platform architecture, data modeling, and ELT processes at scale.
- Experience with cloud data platforms, preferably Azure Cloud Services and Microsoft Fabric.
- Experience designing and implementing data lakes and Delta Lake-based architectures.
- Experience guiding teams through complex technology migrations and architectural changes.
- Strong mentoring, technical leadership, and communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Azure certifications related to data platform architecture or Microsoft Fabric.
- Experience defining data governance frameworks and data security compliance standards.
- Experience working with technology vendors and strategic suppliers.
- Experience presenting technical or architectural strategy in cross-functional or executive forums.
