Application Governance Leader (IT Governance)

Location: Onsite five days per week in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, United States

Salary: $85,000–$122,200 per year

What you will do

• Govern and steward the site's application portfolio, ensuring MPRS applications have appropriate Business Impact Assessments and critical applications are documented in the Site Continuity Plan.
• Own site compliance for digital asset management and manage the Compliance Applications Management Toolkit, including software licenses, access management, QA, record retention, and change management.
• Conduct risk assessments, develop risk-response plans, measure and report IT risks, and identify recurring issues and compliance gaps.
• Evaluate IT control effectiveness, analyze control measurement trends, and coordinate audits, remediation, and policy-change responses.
• Build the capabilities of Application Owners and Key Users through qualification, training, networking, and continuous improvement practices.
• Partner with IT Operations, Digital Compliance, policy owners, auditors, the Site Digital Leader, and 2LOD teams on governance and compliance matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Management Information Systems, Software Development, or a related field.
• Ability to influence and build relationships with business partners, external service providers, and architecture teams.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Fluent English required for speaking, writing, and reading.
• Must be able to work onsite five days per week in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
• U.S. work authorization is required; immigration sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• CRISC, CGEIT, CISA, or CISSP certification, or willingness to obtain one within the first 12 months.
• Experience in Governance, Risk, and Compliance roles such as Risk Manager, Risk Analyst, Compliance Manager, or Auditor.
• Experience with IT governance, policy deployment, compliance monitoring and reporting, and risk identification.
