Finance Manager - Group Commercial Analysis

What you will do

• Deliver commercial analysis supporting strategic decisions and improved financial performance.
• Partner with Finance, Strategy, and senior business stakeholders to provide challenge and drive action.
• Support the rollout of the Economic Profit framework across BT business units.
• Lead key elements of the annual Group Enterprise Valuation process.
• Provide expertise on valuation methodologies, cost of capital, and investment appraisal.
• Present complex financial information and recommendations to senior audiences, including CFO-level stakeholders.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or an equivalent qualification.
• Significant experience partnering with senior stakeholders in a complex, matrixed organisation.
• Experience in commercial analysis and/or business casing within a complex matrix organisation.

Nice to have

• Experience with investment appraisal, valuation techniques, or strategic financial analysis.
• Experience supporting strategic projects, transformation programmes, or performance improvement initiatives.
• Advanced analytical, problem-solving, presentation, and influencing skills.
• Ability to simplify complex concepts and data into compelling business narratives.
