What you will do

• Support hirify.global entities with compliance for electronic money issuance and payment services projects.
• Monitor applicable payment regulations and third-party guidelines, and update internal policies and awareness materials.
• Lead the implementation of AML/CFT procedures, administer AML screening and scoring tools, and conduct third-level investigations into atypical or suspicious operations.
• Investigate regulatory and compliance issues, provide recommendations, and support responses to regulatory information requests.
• Contribute to the internal control and risk management framework, including risk assessments, annual control campaigns, second-level controls, reporting, and action plans.
• Prepare periodic reports for the National Bank of Belgium and monitor controls implemented by distributors.

Requirements

• Fluent English and French
• University degree in legal affairs, finance, or business at BAC 5+ level.
• At least five years of experience in a compliance department of an international group, preferably a financial institution.
• Strong expertise in internal control and payment-services regulations.
• Excellent negotiation, drafting, legal analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Business acumen, autonomy, pragmatism, rigor, prioritization skills, and the ability to work effectively in an international environment.

Nice to have

• Certified Compliance Officer qualification.
