TL;DR
Photographer III (Digital Imaging): Operating, installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining photographic equipment for DoD test-range operations with an accent on high-speed digital imaging, optical equipment, and IP-based camera networks. Focus on collecting and evaluating imagery and test data, supporting engineers during range operations, and deploying to other DoD test sites.
Location: Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama, United States. Onsite work involving local test-range operations, outdoor conditions, travel to other DoD test sites, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

What you will do
- Plan, set up, install, troubleshoot, and maintain range photographic equipment.
- Operate high-speed digital and imaging equipment and process photographic imagery.
- Monitor test operations and collect and evaluate data for accuracy.
- Maintain databases and support engineers and photographers during local test-range operations.
- Travel to other DoD test sites and support field missions as needed.
Requirements
- Three years of applicable experience, or an equivalent combination of education, formal training, and experience.
- Ability to maintain photo and optical equipment and operate digital imaging systems.
- Basic networking skills, including TCP/IP configuration, Ethernet cabling using Cat6 or fiber, and basic switch management.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in adverse weather, unstable terrain, and outside conditions.
- Secret security clearance required.
Nice to have
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Media Encoder for image enhancement and analysis.
- Experience configuring IP-based camera networks for remote triggering and video data backhaul.
- Exceptional customer relationship skills.
