Senior REACH Regulatory Compliance Consultant (Chemical Industry)

Location: Hybrid work in Barcelona or Asturias, Spain, or Brussels or Mechelen, Belgium

Salary: €64,800–€140,875 annually, plus an annual incentive opportunity

What you will do

• Manage REACH compliance activities and registration dossiers for assigned products.
• Monitor regulatory developments, assess business impacts, and identify compliance risks.
• Support F-gas compliance, product stewardship, and market access activities across EMEA.
• Prepare regulatory documentation, compliance statements, and impact assessments.
• Provide regulatory guidance to internal stakeholders and customers.
• Collaborate with commercial, technical, legal, and sustainability teams and participate in industry associations, consortia, and regulatory forums.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Biological Sciences, or a related technical discipline.
• Several years of regulatory affairs, product stewardship, or product compliance experience in the chemical industry.
• Hands-on experience with REACH registration dossiers and working knowledge of REACH-IT and IUCLID.
• Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into operational business actions.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work independently in an international team.
• Fluent English required; the role follows a hybrid schedule from one of the listed locations in Spain or Belgium.

Nice to have

• Experience with fluorinated chemistries, refrigerants, or specialty chemical portfolios.
• Familiarity with EU F-gas regulations, CLP, UK REACH, or Turkey KKDIK.
• Experience with SAP EHS, Power BI, or regulatory databases.
• Participation in industry associations or regulatory working groups.
• Additional European language skills, including Dutch or French.
