Manufacturing Shift Manager (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in Leixlip, Ireland

Annual salary: €103,000–€161,000

What you will do

• Own shift-level fabrication performance across safety, quality, output, tool availability, and cost.
• Lead shift operations meetings, translate factory data into priorities, and make real-time line decisions.
• Coach and develop Group Leaders through performance matrix management and recurring coaching reviews.
• Manage shift resources, toolset priorities, long tool downtimes, and operational escalations.
• Provide 24x7 senior management coverage, including Level 1 Task Force activities, business continuity planning, and excursion management.
• Drive continuous improvement and implement lean solutions to improve factory performance and yield.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Experience in engineering, production engineering Group Leader, or Module Team Leader roles.
• Practical line management knowledge and understanding of factory information systems.
• Knowledge of manufacturing science, capacity metrics, in-line and EOL defect and excursion prevention or response, and model-based problem solving.
• Informal leadership, influencing, coaching, and people management skills, with practical knowledge of lean manufacturing.
