Shift Maintenance Manager (Inspection & Packaging)

Location: Dun Laoghaire, Ireland; onsite shift-based role

Salary: €72,444.65–€98,013.35 per year

What you will do

• Lead and direct shift maintenance teams supporting inspection, packaging, and manufacturing processes.
• Coordinate daily handovers, technical and planning meetings, maintenance plans, resources, and technician assignments.
• Manage corrective and preventive maintenance, equipment breakdown response, emergencies, and production-floor escalations.
• Ensure compliance with GxP, SOP, EHS, quality, safety, training, and equipment-access requirements.
• Support process-deviation investigations, CAPA execution and closure, engineering trials, and equipment-related projects.
• Maintain accurate Maximo work orders and standardized written and verbal shift handovers while reducing downtime and plant bottlenecks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent qualification and/or experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in a GxP or highly regulated manufacturing environment, preferably including 2–3 years in a supervisory role.
• Working knowledge of pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing, aseptic processing, and/or packaging operations.
• Knowledge of GxP, EHS, quality systems, non-conformance, change control, CAPA, equipment troubleshooting, and maintenance strategies.
• Experience with resource planning, scheduling, prioritization, continuous improvement, and relevant systems such as Maximo, SAP, learning management systems, process control systems, or electronic batch records.
• Ability to work onsite in Dun Laoghaire, Ireland, including shift coverage and planned absence cover.
