CL Producer AE - Service (Insurance)

Location: Des Peres, Missouri / St. Louis, Missouri; frequent outside service visits to clients are required.

What you will do

• Manage or direct a complex book of business generating more than $500,000 in revenue, with responsibility for retention and client satisfaction.
• Analyze client needs, coverage forms, quotations, market trends, underwriting questions, and insurance program options across lines of business.
• Develop strategic plans, service models, client service plans, submissions, proposals, and presentations for new and renewal insurance programs.
• Manage client marketing and placement, negotiate final terms and conditions with carriers, and develop favorable market arrangements.
• Build and maintain C-Suite relationships, respond to client requests, educate clients, and provide technical insurance expertise.
• Maintain accurate client and agency management records, coordinate deadlines, and identify exposures and strategic solutions with clients.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in an insurance line of business, with comprehensive knowledge of insurance coverages, underwriting, and rating concepts.
• Active state Property & Casualty insurance license required.
• High school diploma required; a four-year college degree is preferred but not required.
• Industry designation appropriate to the line of business.
• Strong written, oral, interpersonal, presentation, negotiation, and client communication skills.
• Ability to solve problems, make independent decisions with minimal oversight, set and meet deadlines, organize and prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and work accurately under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to maintain current knowledge of industry developments, products, legislation, coverages, and technology, and to educate others.
• Ability to collaborate effectively, provide information and guidance, adapt to changing circumstances, and demonstrate a professional, self-motivated, creative, and client-focused approach.
