Systems Integration and Test Engineer - Junior

Location: Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, United States; onsite role with limited telework only as mission requirements allow

What you will do

• Design, construct, operate, maintain, and support test equipment and systems for digital communications test and evaluation.
• Develop and maintain hardware, software, scripts, automated test tools, and test fixtures in compliance with security guidelines.
• Integrate and verify electrical and hardware components using measurement tools, troubleshoot equipment failures, and recommend solutions.
• Support test engineers and teams with test architectures, engineered solutions, test plans, test cards, data-analysis plans, and formal reports.
• Review technical documentation and collaborate with program offices to develop engineering solutions.
• Present technical briefings, maintain an engineering solutions library, and participate in testing, data analysis, reporting, and travel to test sites and contractor facilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field, plus 0–3 years of experience; additional experience may substitute for education.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance and approval for TS/SCI and Special Access Programs.
• Knowledge of software development or scripting, strong organization and communication skills, and the ability to present technical details verbally and in writing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to work independently in a team environment.
• Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS as needed, with travel potentially reaching 25%.

Nice to have

• Understanding of digital data RF systems or data links and their use.
• Experience with Python scripting, Windows and Linux, software or hardware testing, and automated test tools or fixtures.
• Current active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
