Project Engineer I (Electrical Construction)

Location: Onsite in Henderson, Colorado, at a company-designated office or field location. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $60,000–$100,000 per year, paid weekly and commensurate with experience.

What you will do

• Support construction management for electrical construction projects serving federal, state, and municipal clients.
• Interpret construction drawings and specifications, update drawings, and maintain accurate as-built documentation.
• Prepare RFIs, review plans and specifications, and track contract requirements.
• Assist with subcontractor and vendor agreements, cost estimates, change requests, and change orders.
• Support project scheduling, submittals, statements of work, reporting, and project closeout documentation.
• Track materials, tools, and equipment; inspect workmanship and finished construction; and promote compliance with safety requirements.

Requirements

• 1–5 years of experience in commercial electrical construction operations or general construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field; equivalent relevant education and experience may be considered.
• Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Intermediate or higher working knowledge of Microsoft Project and/or Primavera.
• Operational knowledge of Bluebeam, along with strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
