SAP MDG Functional Consultant – EAM

What you will do

• Lead the architecture, design, development, and implementation of SAP MDG EAM and Asset Information Workbench solutions.
• Design and enhance SAP MDG data models, change requests, governance workflows, validations, derivations, user interfaces, and replication frameworks.
• Develop solutions for EAM master-data objects, including functional locations, equipment, maintenance bills of material, task lists, measuring points, work centres, and classification.
• Build custom ABAP, Web Dynpro ABAP, Floorplan Manager, BAdI, enhancement-framework, and SAP MDG API solutions.
• Design integrations and data replication using DRF, IDocs, web services, APIs, SAP Integration Suite, and middleware.
• Lead testing, migration, cutover, hypercare, production support, technical documentation, and collaboration across functional, integration, data, Basis, and business teams.

Requirements

• 10+ years of SAP consulting experience, including senior technical or solution-design responsibilities.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP MDG EAM, Asset Information Workbench, SAP EAM, SAP ECC, and SAP S/4HANA.
• Expertise in ABAP, ABAP Objects, Web Dynpro ABAP, Floorplan Manager, BAdIs, enhancement frameworks, BRFplus, and SAP workflow.
• Experience with SAP MDG data models, change request types, workflows, validations, derivations, user interfaces, replication, and integration.
• Experience with data migration, mass upload, validation, reconciliation, error handling, and complex technical troubleshooting.
• Strong documentation, stakeholder management, communication, consulting, and technical workstream leadership skills.

Nice to have

• SAP Master Data Governance Certification.
• SAP BTP or SAP Integration Suite Certification.
• Experience with SAP MDG on SAP S/4HANA, co-deployed and hub deployment models, Consolidation and Mass Processing, SAP Fiori, and Clean Core architecture.
