Facility Project Specialist

Location: Lantau Island, Hong Kong

What you will do

• Coordinate with government authorities, consultants, contractors, suppliers, internal departments, and end users throughout procurement and construction.
• Control and supervise contractors and suppliers to ensure contractual quality and delivery timelines.
• Develop construction strategies covering phasing, sequencing, logistics, safety, quality control, and delivery.
• Develop and monitor master project plans, construction schedules, and cost plans in collaboration with quantity surveyors, project controllers, and architects or designers.
• Plan procurement strategies considering project timelines, budgets, design requirements, local regulations, long-lead items, and available resources.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in building studies, building surveying, construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of project management experience, preferably in project or construction management for large-scale commercial, retail, or hotel projects.
• Leadership and interpersonal skills to lead projects independently across organizational levels.
• Strong communication, negotiation, analytical, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with local statutory requirements, building codes, and submission procedures.
• Fluency in both English and Chinese is required.
