Medical Director - Radiation Oncology – Evicore - Remote

Location: United States Work at Home; 100% remote

Salary: $207,800–$346,300 USD yearly, with eligibility for an annual bonus plan.

What you will do

• Complete time-sensitive, evidence-based medical necessity reviews using EviCore’s case management software.
• Conduct peer-to-peer consultations with referring providers about the medical necessity and appropriateness of requested services or treatments.
• Use clinical expertise to recommend alternative services or treatments when appropriate.
• Apply evidence-based decision-making to support high-quality patient care.
• Collaborate with more than 500 EviCore physician colleagues across multiple medical specialties.
• Complete structured remote training with support from trainers, mentors, and leadership.

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. with a current, active U.S. medical license.
• Board certification in Radiation Oncology through ABMS or AOA.
• Eligibility to acquire additional state licenses as required.
• At least three years of relevant clinical experience after residency or fellowship.
• Ability to commit to a set Monday-to-Friday weekly schedule.
• Strong computer, communication, typing, and clinical judgment skills, including the ability to work autonomously with automated processes and computer systems.
• A company-provided encrypted workstation must be hard-wire connected to a modem or router; wireless connections are not permitted. Home internet must use cable broadband or fiber service with at least 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload speeds.
