Software Engineer II – AI Agents & Harnesses (AI)

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States

Annual base salary: $120,400–$198,700, plus eligibility for performance-based cash incentive awards.

What you will do

• Design and deliver production-grade harness capabilities for building and deploying generative AI applications.
• Drive architecture and system design for agentic components used across multiple teams.
• Help engineering teams adopt enterprise standards for source control, testing, CI/CD, and modern engineering practices.
• Advance test automation, observability, distributed tracing, and overall system quality.
• Identify and resolve cross-team dependencies and delivery bottlenecks in large distributed systems.
• Mentor engineers, contribute reusable capabilities, and communicate technical direction to business stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of hands-on software development experience, including production delivery of AI solutions supported at scale.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related STEM field, or equivalent education and work experience.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with TypeScript for AI integrations.
• Hands-on experience building, deploying, and evaluating generative AI applications, including orchestration, tool interfaces, context and memory management, and guardrails.
• Experience with AWS and/or Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform or CDK, and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Experience with agentic runtimes and harness platforms such as AWS AgentCore, OSS frameworks such as Strands Agents or LangGraph, Helm, zero-trust security, and secure enterprise systems.
