Hospital AR Specialist - EHS Patient Accounts - Full Time

Location: Manchester, NH, United States; full-time onsite role with shifts between 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM.

What you will do

• Prepare, review, and submit accurate hospital facility claims using UB-04 forms and electronic or paper billing methods.
• Assign and verify revenue codes, modifiers, and service lines for claim accuracy.
• Follow up on outstanding facility balances and secure reimbursement under payer and regulatory requirements.
• Research and resolve technical, clinical, and administrative hospital-claim denials and escalate complex issues when needed.
• Collaborate with coding, revenue integrity, patient access, and clinical departments to resolve charge capture, documentation, and registration issues.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of billing experience required.
• Knowledge of commercial insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, and government-assisted payer claims.
• Ability to work with hospital billing methodologies including DRG, APC, and OPPS.
