Logistics Finance Controller

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands; hybrid model with 3 days per week in the Amsterdam office and 2 days from home. Up to 20 additional days per year may be worked from anywhere.

What you will do

• Own the logistics P&L for assigned business units.
• Prepare monthly forecasts and annual budgets for logistics costs.
• Partner with local teams to connect financial results with operational KPIs.
• Analyze actual costs and explain variances against forecasts and budgets.
• Report monthly performance results to executives and support month-end close activities.
• Drive process improvements and controls, including ad hoc analysis and business case reviews.

Requirements

• An EU Working Permit is required; the Orientation Year Visa is not accepted.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 3–6 years of experience in controlling, FP&A, or accounting.
• Fluent English.
• Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint and MS Excel skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, with strong communication, analytical, and teamwork skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of SAP.
