Lead IT FAR Solution Architect 80-100% (SAP)

What you will do

• Own end-to-end architecture from Finance Hub ingestion through SAP FICO, GRDC, SAP Group Reporting, and Disclosure Management.
• Lead solution design for consolidation flows, upstream FICO dependencies, Finance Hub integrations, and Disclosure Management connections.
• Shape SAP BDC and Data Sphere as analytical and automation platforms alongside the SAP core on AWS.
• Partner with central finance functions and business units to accelerate the financial close cycle.
• Own architecture decisions and sign-off artefacts, lead design reviews, and resolve cross-stream technical risks.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, data governance, security, and tooling standards.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in IT solution architecture or senior SAP technical consulting.
• Deep hands-on expertise in SAP FICO and experience with SAP Group Reporting for S/4HANA.
• Understanding of the full FAR chain, including Finance Hub, FICO close, GRDC rollups, Group Reporting, and Disclosure Management.
• Experience designing and building solutions across an existing system landscape.
• Comfort working at code and configuration level, including prototyping, specification reviews, and implementation validation.
• Fluent English required; German is a plus.

• Experience with GRDC.
• Experience with SAP BDC, Data Sphere, or a comparable analytical platform architecture.
