Pharmacy Technician - Accredo Speciality Pharmacy - Remote PA and AZ

Location: Remote within Pennsylvania or Arizona; Monday-Friday, working an 8-hour shift between 9:00am and 8:00pm EST.

What you will do

• Handle inbound and outbound calls to welcome patients, gather demographics, and arrange first medication shipments.
• Create prescription requests and contact providers and doctors’ offices.
• Enter prescriptions accurately into the pharmacy system and perform data-entry-focused work.
• Investigate non-clinical issues with pharmacists, doctors, and other healthcare providers.
• Explain medication coverage to patients while managing multiple tasks with attention to detail.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience.
• Valid Pharmacy Technician license in Arizona or Pennsylvania; a trainee license may be considered. Certification is preferred.
• Strong computer and data-entry skills, including Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Reliable wired Ethernet internet connection is required; mobile or hotspot connections are not acceptable. Cable broadband or fiber service must provide at least 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload.
• Private and quiet workspace required.
