Senior Land Representative

Location: Morgantown, West Virginia, United States

Salary: USD $75,400–$83,200 per year, plus potential participation in an annual discretionary bonus program.

What you will do

• Acquire land, property rights, licenses, leases, and permits for pipeline and public infrastructure projects.
• Negotiate with landowners and prepare legal documents and property transfer agreements.
• Maintain communication with landowners, government agencies, and other project stakeholders.
• Report stakeholder interaction status to project management and analyze counteroffers.
• Secure unobstructed access for construction crews after right-of-way acquisition.
• Settle damage claims and maintain project files, right-of-way maps, records, drawings, exhibits, and progress reports.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience in land acquisition or right-of-way activities.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, construction management, or a related field preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Basic proficiency with Google Earth and/or other GIS software.
• Ability to read and understand title reports, appraisal reports, and land surveys.
• Knowledge of real estate values, accepted practices, scheduling, communication, and follow-through.
