2027 Summer Internship – Communications/PR/Digital Media/Advertising (Redlands)

Location: Redlands, California, US; employees are generally required to reside in California. Hybrid work mode with required reporting to an SCE facility for a set number of days and remote work on the remaining days.

Salary: $22.50–$30.00 per hour

What you will do

• Work on real-world communications, PR, digital media, or advertising challenges in the utility and energy sector.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on assigned projects and apply academic knowledge in practice.
• Use industry-relevant software and tools aligned with the field of study.
• Present the assigned internship project at the annual Intern Expo.
• Develop professional skills and a network through mentoring, intern events, and ongoing support.
• Demonstrate effective and open communication.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in Communications, PR, Digital Media, or Advertising.
• Expected graduation date of December 2027 or later.
• Currently enrolled at an accredited institution.
• Minimum GPA of 2.8.
• Legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Transcripts will be verified during onboarding.
