2027 Summer Marketing Communications Intern (Public Relations)

Location: United States; principally in-person with flexibility determined with the supervisor and team.

Compensation: $24.00–$27.00 per hour in Colorado, Illinois, or Massachusetts.

What you will do

• Write and publish intranet articles about diversity, equity, and inclusion, firm initiatives, and client success stories.
• Write website articles highlighting media placements.
• Create social media posts sharing firm news and initiatives.
• Draft press releases announcing firm news.
• Coordinate meetings, enter work into the project management system, and support article publishing.
• Support internal communications, public relations, change management, and the reinforcement of firm culture.

Requirements

• Completion of at least three years toward a bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Previous marketing internship experience; communications experience is preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Communications-focused marketing internship experience.
• Experience embracing AI technologies such as Copilot.
• Bilingual Japanese-English or Chinese-English ability may qualify candidates for an exception to the sponsorship requirement.
